Scuba Schools International Manta & Ray Ecology Specialty

Join the SSI Manta and Ray Ecology specialty program and you will learn how to dive with rays and recognize different ray species. You will be taught how rays contribute to healthy ocean ecosystems and why these precious animals need our protection.

Your instructor, Dave Harrah, will go beyond the online learning materials with practical application of the information to ensure you have a better and, dare we say, deeper understanding of these magnificent animals.

We will also provide you with information on diving opportunities to reinforce the knowledge gained in this course.

Upon completion, you will earn your SSI Manta & Ray Ecology Specialty certification.
