Registration

  • For Dive Club Members. This will get you general admission to the aquarium, a behind the scenes tour, and a dive in the aquarium itself.

    Note: No refunds 60 days before the event (since we have to send the aquarium the non-refundable amount then). We would attempt to re-sell your spots but, there is no guarantee.

COME DIVE WITH US AT THE GEORGIA AQUARIUM
--- SATURDAY ---

The Georgia Aquarium Journey with Gentle Giants interactive programs are the only opportunity in the world where you are guaranteed to swim with the largest fish in the world, the whale shark, in Georgia Aquarium’s Ocean Voyager exhibit. This 6.3 million gallon exhibit houses thousands of fish including zebra sharks, sawfish and more.

Limited to 14 spots for this event.  They will go FAST!  We will dive in the actual aquarium, in a giant tank, that holds Manta Rays, Whale Sharks, and hundreds of other fish.  The fee includes;

  • Full day pass at the Georgia Aquarium.
  • Behind the scenes tour.
  • Dive in the aquarium with the Whale Sharks and Manta Rays.
  • Video of our dive (copy).
  • Includes tanks, regulators, wetsuit, weights and fins.
  • (You can only bring your own mask and wrist dive computer if desired)

This is an Austin Aquanauts Dive Club member-only
event until January 1st when we open the event to everyone.

 Note that this year we are not offering hotel accommodations.  Though we recommend the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown (275 Baker St NW, Atlanta, GA 30313) which is right across the street from the aquarium and an easy walk.  Our two trip leaders will also be staying at this hotel and would provide an easy meet up spot.

Please make sure that your dive club membership is up to date. 

Club Fees:   $599*   Dive Club Members - Aquarium Only

  $699*   Non-Members - Aquarium Only
Other Known Fees:   $$$   Travel, Transportation, Transfers, lodging, and Food not included.




* Due to restrictions from the aquarium, no refunds within 60 days of event.

Don't forget to bring your certification card to show the aquarium staff.

As always, please follow all facility safety procedure's.  As well as all standard dive safety and proper planning procedures  (schedule your return flights at least 24 hours after the dive).

 Note: If you find that the event is sold out and would really like to go, make sure and place yourself on the Aquarium only waitlist (no accommodations) and we'll attempt to add an additional day/session.


This event requires a Tom's Dive & Swim liability release form to be completed. Click the below Smart Waiver link and complete the release online before the event.

Google Maps driving directions from Tom's Dive and Swim. Obviously a 14 hour drive might not be your preference. You may consider air travel.  Just make sure that your return flight is greater than 24 hours from the end of the dive.
